Pathfinder: Iron Gods
The Torchbearers is a relatively recently established organization. Centered appropriately enough in the town of Torch, the Torchbearers is an organization that was founded on the wondrous deeds of a few exceptional adventurers, namely: Aysel, Alabaster Kern, Baqir, and Mattias Styrbjorn. The organization really began to start building when these heroes, their band’s famous moniker, “the Torchbearers” being given to the organization, began to take true form after the heroes returned from Scrapwall with stories that something called an “Iron God” was found and slain by the Torchbearers. After this little-understood feat, many began to see the Torchbearers as a sign that change was coming to Numeria, and many flocked to this movement with hopes of changing Numeria for the better, while many also joined for more personal and selfish reasons.
The Torchbearers organization is hosted in a re-purposed warehouse called the Sconce. It is here that briefings are conducted for Torchbearer missions, a secret handful of technological relics are kept, and many of the supplies for the organization are crafted.
The organization is usually handled by an android woman named Meyanda, who efficiently and quietly handles the day to day tasks of the soldiers, the training of said soldiers, and the juggling of various missions undertaken by Torchbearer agents. Some consider her cold in her judgement and training exercises, but most consider this a symptom of her worship of Brigh.
